Rotary Community Park provides a unique combination of active and passive uses including an outdoor environmental laboratory, a skate/BMX park, a neighborhood playground, picnic facilities and trails, a climbing boulder, and art elements (and a webcam!)

Rotary Community Park is the result of fantastic community support and partnerships. The Skate/BMX Park concept was developed by local youth and sports professionals. Construction has been financially supported by the Woodinville Rotary Club , Banner Bank, Woodinville Branch and grants from the Water Conservation Fund.

The 18 acre site acquired for the park protects over 465 feet of high quality salmon habitat along Little Bear Creek, one of the most important salmon- bearing streams entering the Sammamish River The park's natural features include second growth timber and a healthy riparian corridor along the creek. In the areas where the creekside has been disturbed, the City of Woodinville intends to engage a volunteer environmental corps in restoration and interpretive work and volunteer projects under the leadership and stewardship of the local Woodinville Rotary Club, a major benefactor for the park development. Trails and vistas will connect the natural areas with an active youth oriented plaza that will transform a critical intersection from eyesore to energy packed recreation area. The park augments the community and school uses at Woodinville High School and nearby Woodin Elementary School and will be the focus of community wide volunteer efforts involving youth and adults.
